At Home Neurofeedback Program

Neurofeedback Training  at Home in Denver

We understand that driving into the office 2-3 times a week for neurofeedback sessions is not accessible to everyone. Connected Brain Counseling offers an at home neurofeedback program so you can train your brain from home!

Remote neurofeedback therapy programs offer independence, flexibility in your schedule, and still offer the guidance and support of a licensed counselor

We offer at home rentals through New Mind technology. Their at home systems are some of the most advanced systems in the field and offer the same type of amplitude training that is offered in person at the office (though with a different, portable machine).

How Does Neurofeedback at Home Work?

Clients will rent an amplifier from Connected Brain Counseling on a month to month basis. The amplifier and New Mind software require Windows 10 or 11 to be run on a home computer. Laptops are available to rent if a client doesn't have access to Windows 10 or 11.

New Mind's software will guide clients on how to hook themselves up with electrodes and train successfully from home. Your clinician will monitor progress every two weeks and adjust protocols as needed. You can expect your clinician to be in contact with you and involved throughout the duration of your program.

What to Expect

Let's Get Started!

White Washed Wood

1

Complete a qEEG Brain Map

All clients are required to complete a qEEG Brain Map. We recommend doing this in person for the highest quality of data, however at home options are available as well.

The rest of your training program will be completed virtually!

2

Train At Home

Neurofeedback at home training schedules start with three 20 minute sessions a week for a minimum of 3-4 months.

Depending on the frequency of training and how your brain responds, you may be asked to train more often!

Your clinician will monitor your progress and update you every 2 weeks to make protocol changes and check in.

3

Tapering & Maintenance

Toward the end of your program, you will start to taper down on sessions and train 1-2 times a week, then every other week. This allows your brain to maintain progress while adding time between sessions.

Your clinician will discuss in person and at home maintenance options. Maintenance programs are designed on a case by case basis.
