Finding neurotherapy specialists in Denver can be a difficult task. Fortunately, Connected Brain Counseling is here to offer modern options for mental health without relying on medication. Our neurotherapy specialists are experts in brain mapping and other forms of therapy to help you better understand and improve your mental health. With Connected Brain Counseling, you can trust that you are getting the best care for your needs without having to rely on medication.
Neurotherapy, also known as neurofeedback or EEG biofeedback, is a non-invasive therapeutic approach that aims to improve brain function and alleviate symptoms related to various mental health conditions. This cutting-edge treatment utilizes advanced technology to monitor and train brainwaves, allowing individuals to gain better control over their mental and emotional well-being.
One of the key benefits of neurotherapy is its ability to help individuals reduce their reliance on medication. Unlike traditional treatment methods that often involve prescription drugs, neurotherapy focuses on regulating brain activity and promoting self-regulation, which can lead to long-lasting improvements without the need for medication.
Another significant advantage of neurotherapy is its versatility in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or PTSD, neurotherapy can be customized to address your specific needs. By training your brain to achieve optimal patterns of activity, neurotherapy can help alleviate symptoms, improve focus and attention, enhance mood regulation, and promote overall mental well-being.
Brain mapping, a crucial component of this treatment, allows neurotherapy specialists to identify specific areas of the brain that may be overactive or underactive, leading to various mental health symptoms. By gaining a better understanding of the unique patterns in your brain activity, neurotherapy specialists can develop targeted treatment plans that address your specific needs, leading to more effective and personalized outcomes.
Finding a neurotherapy specialist in Denver can be a daunting task. One of the biggest challenges is the lack of information and awareness surrounding neurotherapy. Many people may not even know what it is or how it can help them, making it difficult to find a specialist who offers this type of treatment.
Not all mental health professionals are trained or experienced in neurotherapy. This means that even if you find a therapist or counselor, they may not have the knowledge or expertise to provide this specialized form of therapy. This further narrows down the pool of potential specialists in the Denver area.
Additionally, insurance coverage can also be a challenge when it comes to neurotherapy. Many insurance companies do not fully cover the cost of these treatments, making them less accessible for those who rely on insurance for mental health care. This can limit your options and make it even more difficult to find a specialist who meets your needs and is within your budget.
Fortunately, Connected Brain Counseling understands these challenges and aims to make neurotherapy more accessible to individuals in the Denver area. Their team of neurotherapy specialists specializes in this innovative form of treatment and is dedicated to providing the best care for their patients. I specialize in working with women in their 20s to 50s who struggle with self-worth, self-esteem, and the guilt that often comes with prioritizing themselves. Finding self-trust and the ability to feel worthy of happiness are common topics in my work. My clients tend to put off therapy because they downplay their struggles, describing their pain as ‘not that big of a deal.’ Many of them grew up in households where expressing emotions wasn’t encouraged and they are still looking for security now. My goal is to create a space where you feel completely free to be yourself—no pressure, no expectations. Therapy with me isn’t about either of us being ‘perfect’—it’s more about you feeling safe, seen, and supported as you figure things out in a way that works for you. I prioritize meaningful conversations that get to the heart of the issue, getting to the root and out of surface level conversation quickly. Going through my own therapy has given me a deeper understanding of what it’s like to be in the client’s seat, and it’s made me even more passionate about helping others find the support that truly works for them. My clients describe me as focused, compassionate, nonjudgmental, and down-to-earth. I truly love what I do and that comes through in my work! I’m a person-centered therapist, but I often integrate elements of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and IFS.
I support adults and teens (15+) who are ready to find relief from trauma, anxiety, depression, or feeling stuck in life, career, or identity transitions. Using a compassionate, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, I help clients reconnect with themselves and move toward balance and resilience. I’m EMDR-trained and draw from person-centered, gestalt, DBT, and somatic practices. Whether we’re working with the nervous system, processing painful memories, or exploring patterns with curiosity, my goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel supported, present, and empowered to grow. I especially enjoy working with athletes, creative people, students, and outdoor adventurers who value resilience, beauty, and balance. Alongside therapy and grounding practices, I also offer neurofeedback as another powerful pathway for nervous system regulation and healing. Outside the office, you’ll often find me climbing, fly fishing, running trails, foraging, or relaxing in the grass under the aspens. My love for movement, play, and nature continually inspires how I show up with clients.
